By making a booking, you are agreeing to the following terms of service:

Code of Ethics & Professional Practice

  • Rooted-Healing is fully insured with Holistic therapy Insurance and public liability insurance

  • Ascension Healing and/or any other therapy or treatment offered at Rooted Healing is not a replacement for medical treatment and advice. (Or other professional services where required.)

  • All my services - including Ascension healing and all others- can be safely used alongside traditional (allopathic) medicine: however they are NOT to be used as a replacement for proper medical diagnosis or treatment. You are advised to see a GP or other medical professional in the case of medical issues or concerns.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

At Rooted Healing the following cancellation policy is in place:

​FOR ALL ONE-TO-ONE VIRTUAL (ONLINE) APPOINTMENTS (INC. DISTANCE HEALING):

Full payment is required at the time of booking via the website. This is non-refundable. Appointments can be rescheduled by the client WITH A MINIMUM of 24 hours’ notice via the Appointments calendar on the Rooted-Healing website.

Refunds and Complaints

Rooted-Healing makes every effort to ensure that the services offered will be a good fit and of value to any prospective client prior to any monetary exchange by doing the following:

  • Offering a free contact service and ‘discovery’ service to help establish whether the services offered are suitable for a client prior to purchasing

  • Providing detailed information on the websitewww.rooted-healing.com about the nature of the services offered and what can be expected from them

Results cannot be guaranteed

Clients undertake the healing services offered at Rooted-Healing for a number of different reasons, and this will be discussed during your session. Clients are also given the opportunity to communicate any particular issues or concerns via the Client intake form prior to the consultation.

However, it is important to note that results cannot be guaranteed and that as with most things, the result is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to:

  • Your commitment to the modality and the effort invested by the client into the recommended course of action, use of techniques taught. and utilisation of advice

  • Genuine participation both during and after the session by the client

  • existing health conditions.

  • While a Practitioner can focus on particular areas and can work with intention, healing will always go where it is most needed. As such, the results of a treatment can neither be predicted or guaranteed.

Right of refusal to treat

Rooted Healing reserves the right to refuse treatment where appropriate. Instances of refusal to treat can be (but not exclusive too):

  • if the client is under the influence of alcohol or mind-altering substances.

  • if the client is intimidating or offensive, in a physical, or sexual manner, or otherwise.

  • if the client behaves in any way which may lead the Practitioner to feel physically unsafe, disrespected, or abused.

  • in the case of late attendance of the client, where discretion will be exercised.

Confidentiality & Data Storage

Prior to your initial session, you will be asked to complete a Client Intake Form which will be held on file for the required amount of time following treatment. Only information necessary for your treatment is gathered. It is not used for any other purposes. Everything written on the form and discussed between client and practitioner is entirely confidential. Your information and records will never be shared, unless it is required by due process of law.

In accordance with the terms of the UK Reiki Federation Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct, records must be kept in safe custody for seven years from the date of the last treatment and in the event of death, all records will be destroyed appropriately.

The Rooted-healing website is hosted by Squarespace.com who may record information such as your IP address. Their data policy can be found here: Privacy policy, Squarespace.

None of this information is held by Rooted-Healing.
